There are 6 rooms (5 twin and one double) and one self catering chalet with two double bedrooms. Lweni offers a tranquil, relaxed environment, comfortable accommodation, swimming, fishing (only throw back), and braai’s for visitors all in a relaxed environment. The reserve is very scenic with a dense vegetation of bushveld and boekenhout trees, a large number of game species, 5 dams containing a variety of fish species and it holds a record for 184 bird species recorded within 3 hours by the South Africa birding society. It lies on 1500 hectares of land with mostly non predatory wild animals such as giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, buck, etc. From November visitors will be able to go on game drives as well. If pre-booked, visitors can also explore the historical buildings and world heritage site. Or they can simply relax by the bar or swimming pool. The rooms are stylishly furnished and decorated to suit the theme of nature.  At the end of a long relaxed day, enjoy dinner under the stars by the braai. The farm gets its water supply from the Zebediela underground river, which has 17000 year old water that contains all the essential minerals in the right quantities and does not contain a single bacteria. Our new Water Bottling plant will be operating soon offering this pure mineral water to the public. Currently the reserve has 5 helipads, a butchery and conference facilities. In addition it has a magnificent church, and also Milner house, which date back to 1890 and have been fully restored with authentic antiques. The game lodge area (Lleweni) where our guests will be staying has a swimming pool, cash bar, restaurant (meals to be pre-booked), out door braai area, as well as an under cover braai area.
